Our only hope is with the shortwave in the NW flow aloft over Central Texas organizing a bit with the heat of the day, but other than that, you're probably right.

HRRR is showing development over most of Houston as the day progresses. I am def keeping my fingers crossed!

Man if this all slides off the the east and misses us again....

AT 1116 AM CDT, DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG

I am hearing rumbles of thunder for the first time since July 4th! The SPC has just updated the Convective Outlook to include a Marginal Risk for SE Texas.
