It's been coming down pretty hard in Stafford for the last 20 minutes.

This rain is horrible. Any chance we will get a piece of that monster high pressure that has given sunshine to the rest of the country? Heat is no problem as long as there is sun.

Yes, and I'm sure it'll be back.
Enjoy this for now.

I’ll take rain every day the rest of the summer to avoid the nasty death ridge.

Rain all around me, somehow it managed to skip right over me yet again. Nada.

I can’t believe this, today was supposed to be another nice soaking too.

It still looks unsettled at least into Wednesday before rainfall chances and areal coverage decreases heading into next weekend. I've just had some sprinkles this afternoon after 1.62 inches yesterday afternoon.

Another day, another Marginal Risk for Excessive Rainfall across Central and SE Texas. We should begin the slow drying trend as the work week progresses, but not totally shut off the tap of heat of the day isolated storms. July has been wet so far. Areas across the Hill Country have received up to near 7 inches of rainfall and we know that some locations in SE Texas are nearing 10 inches since July 4th. That will put a dent in any chances of a drought returning anytime soon.

I have a feeling today will be another bust for me. The sun isn’t out stirring things up. Little patch of drizzle passing by keeping things stable and blah (and still pretty much dry)...
