Re: JUNE 2018 will the rains come?

Might be time to keep an eye on the models over the weekend. Right now there is no consensus but a few are suggesting some potential tropical mischief in the central or western gom later next week.

We are heading to Louisiana from Stafford, TX this afternoon about 3pm. Will we be in front of the storms? Taking the wife to the nugget for a little r&r and so far through Beaumont it has been smooth sailing. Minor wreck as you get around Ford park (330 ish) but wasn't causing any slow down.

Begins turning more towards the ne and e as it nears the upper texas coast., and then rides the Louisiana coastline.

If anybody has any friends or family down in Bay City and they're not aware of the situation, wake them up. The city just announced a mandatory evacuation of the city by 1 pm tomorrow. Colorado is projected to cause severe flooding in every structure in the city with 10 ft downtown. I know 35 wasn't...

The Bay City band is the intense one... there's another band forming just west of Angleton I've watched the pattern all day. This smaller band should merge with the larger band to the sw. Its every bit as explosive as all the other bands, if not more. The only differnce is this one started building...
