Euro run this morning has shifted slightly west and seems to have increased intensity. The 00z NAM 3km showed a TX/LA landfall. The 06z run has it now making landfall again in Galveston at hurricane status. I expect coastal SE TX counties to be added to at the least, a Tropical Storm warning sometim...

Re: June 2017: ALT PTC #3 / Gulf Of Mexico Threat

GFS has been (somewhat) consistent with a Louisiana landfall. It will truly be telling to see the end result as there are...

Re: May 2015 Flash Flood Potential Wednesday/Heavy Rainfall

Not the best of news coming into Houston this morning as a decent squall line is approaching the northern parts of Harris County. On the bright side, this line does seem to be moving at a decent rate and should move on out after a few hours. I don't see it stalling once it gets to the coast. Fortuna...

Re: May 2015: Wet & Stormy Memorial Day Holiday Weekend

I have friends in San Marcos, TX where I went to school for two years who have been posting images of the flooding there. Blanco River is causing first floor apartments to flood. Students are becoming stranded. Incredible how fast it is rising. Such a serious life threatening situation going on. Edi...
