Looks more of a central/ne Gulf threat due to an approaching front/ trough coming down with sw flow pushing it away from TX. Still needs watching though of course!

The Atlantic is spitting out 5's like the west Pac this season! It looks like a direct hit on Dominica and then Puerto Rico.

Past several days grand total for rain in my area (north Harris) was 30 inches! The largest total was Clear Creek/League City 50 or so inches from the FWS site. Average YEARLY rain is 45 inches. Unbelievable!!!

The system does appear to be directly south of the area scooting east putting more of the area under ne flow which is better than se flow. Could cut off the rains sooner.

Harris County and Galveston county convection on the increase again. Watching showers/ bands around the center too.

The band to the sw has me worried. The same thing happened last evening with a band that started there then came in and stalled out....
